A man aged in his 60’s has sustained serious hand injuries after being injured by a drop saw in Glen Innes on Monday afternoon.
NSW Ambulance crews were called to the scene at 2:30 and treated the man for his injuries before the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called in
The man was transported by road to meet the helicopter’s critical care medical team at Armidale Airport.
He was further treated and stabilised before being transported to John Hunter Hospital.
His condition is unknown.
