New England Police have thanked the public for their assistance in locating a man missing in Armidale.
The 69-year-old was last seen leaving a care facility in Armidale around midday on Saturday and when he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to New England Police District were notified and immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with medical conditions.
Police state the man had been located safe.
