A 30-year-old man has been arrested and remains behind bars after a firearms prohibition order compliance search at an address on Long Street at Warialda on Thursday afternoon.
Police allege during the search of the premises, officers found the man inside the home with a quantity of methylamphetamine on him, as he attempted to hide inside a freezer when they entered.
It also alleged that police located and seized an amount of prohibited drugs including methylamphetamine, cocaine, buprenorphine and cannabis, a sawn-off firearm and stock end, cash and a mobile phone.
He was charged with firearm, drug, dealing with the proceeds of crime and breaching bail and has been refused bail to appear in court in Tamworth on March 16th
