I started in community radio with Inverell's STA FM in March 2011. I first joined up as a member and within a few days was invited to become a presenter.
I have always had a passion for music and love of the '60s, the '70s, '80s, and some country music, mostly modern country. I was brought up with country music playing in the household. I currently host two programs on STA FM. Tuesday nightshift from 6pm-9pm where I feature a group or artist and mix it with music from the '60s, '70s, '80s, and Australia content. Friday night Variety shift from 6pm-10pm, and I cater to requests and generally mix my program with a mixture of the '60s, '70s '80s, '90s, 2000s, and country. Apart from my music, my other interests involve model railways of which I am building a layout, building scale models, and collect diecast model vehicles. I have been a member of the Rural Fire Service for 52 years, and an avid Manly Sea Eagle Supporter. |
