Two Inverell women will be making a trip to Switzerland later this month to represent Australia at the Masters Games.
Kelli McCormack and Rachel Laughton will wear the green and gold in the Over 45’s Women’s basketball team with the ladies meeting up with their QLD teammates over the long weekend for training session.
Ms McCormack says she’ll leave for Switzerland next Friday ahead of the Opening ceremony on the 27th of June before they taking to the court to chase a berth in the gold medal match on the 6th of July.
She says she’s looking forward to representing Australia, labelling it an opportunity of a lifetime.
