Inverell Rifle Club members Byron La Fontaine and Isabella and Jake Campbell have taken off overseas to represent the Australian Under 25 F Open Rifle team at the 2026 F Class World Championships in the United Kingdom.
They will shoot in a team event which will take place over 3 days along with also competing in individual events against the best shooters in the world, many of which will travel over from Australia and USA.
The 8-person squad, which is captained by Byron, also consists of Jock Foster and Beau Turnbull from Armidale and Mia Lowe from Goondiwindi.
Inverell Rifle Club state this group of young people are not just good shots, they are at the top of the F Class category nationally, adding they’re simply the best you could hope to have represent you and will be wonderful ambassadors for their clubs and the country.
Senior shooters Sean Campbell and Dave La Fontaine are also shooting individually at Bisley.
