Inverell RSM Civilian Rifle Club members have excelled at the Australian Under 25 F Open Rifle team at the 2026 F Class World Championships in the United Kingdom.
The Aussie team consisting of local shooters Byron La Fontaine and Bella and Jacob Campbell, won the inaugural Rutland Cup world teams event scoring an emphatic victory over their nearest rival Great Britain.
Three other members of the Aussie team consist of members from the northern region including Jock Foster and Beau Turnbull from Armidale and Mia Lowe from Goondiwindi.
Foster, Lowe and La Fontaine also claimed the U25 F Open British Open claiming all 3 podium spots with Jacob and Isabella finishing 4th and 5th respectively.
Meantime, Sean Campbell had the win of his career taking out the British Open with a score of 215.13 ahead of fellow Aussie David McNamara on 212.14
