Local cricketers Hollie Woodbury and Georgie Leonard are currently playing for Central North in the U19’s Female Country Championship in Tamworth.
Day 1 saw Central North play Newcastle in a 50 over game with Newcastle batting first and compiling 5/256 and in reply, Central North where bowled out for 154.
Hollie ended with 1/43 from 9 overs with Hollie talking 2 catches while Georgie 0/23 from 6 overs and scored 19 runs.
Day 2 saw a loss to Southwest and Central Coast with highlights being Georgie scoring 4 runs and taking 1/17 and Hollie 5 runs in both games.
Today they play a 50 over game against North Coast.
