An unbeaten 44 from Troy Brabant has guided Staggy Creek to a comfortable victory over Square and Compass at Varley Oval in round 10 results in the Inverell Cricket competition on Saturday.
In a rain reduced match, Square and Compass were set into bat and made 6/105 with Ryan Campbell top scoring with 41 and in reply, Staggy reached the target in the 18th over to go to the top of the points table.
Meantime at McCosker 2, Campbell and Freebairn Rebels smashed the winless Delungra by 157 runs.
Blake Ubergang with an unbeaten 84 and a solid 67 from Dave Mudaliar set up the Rebel’s 5/235 and in reply, Delungra were never in the hunt, being dismissed for 78 with Nathan Marsh claiming 5/30.
This win will move Rebels into second place on the points table
