The race for the finals commences tomorrow when Round 10 of the Inverell Cricket competition is played.

The match of the round is the top of the table clash between Staggy Creek and competition leaders Square & Compass at Varley Oval.

Of their previous three encounters this season, two have been washed out while Staggy accounted for Square & Compass in their only completed match in a high scoring affair in November.

The other match pitts Delungra against Campbell and Freebairn at McCosker 2 with the reigning premiers needing to win to keep in contact with the top teams
