Three current and former Inverell auctioneers have been selected in the final 10 to compete for the John Weekes Memorial NSW Young Auctioneers competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Darcy Brennan from Lehman Stock and property, Luke Reynolds from J.A McGregor Inverell and Warialda and former local Will McLachlan from Elders Wagga Wagga have been selected to compete at the Easter event.

ALPA’s Peter Baldwin says the three auctioneers along with Nash Tome from Elders Inverell and Glen Innes attended the 2-day auctioneer school last November at William Inglis at Warwick Farm and were put through their paces in selling stock.

Mr Baldwin praised the local stock and station agents for bringing through young talent
