Local Ag Students Achieve Magnificent Results at Brisbane’s EKKA

MacIntyre High and Holy Trinity School’s Ag Show Teams performed well at the EKKA in Brisbane last week achieving some magnificent results.

Holy Trinity school placed 1^st in the Junior Led Steer (Class 17) category and picked up the Reserve Champion in the Junior Led Steer competition.

An incredible 7 out of the 27 finalists in the 14/15 Paraders age group competition were from Holy Trinity while Harriet Webber made the finals for the 16/U18 age group in a field of 110 competitors.

Meantime MacIntyre High School’s Byron Perrett gained a 7th place in the Senior Paraders out of 130 students, Piper Redwood gained a tremendous 3rd place in the Intermediate Junior Judging and Ruby Rogan received 1^st place in the intermediate stud paraders category.

The school also placed 2^nd in the  Charolais World congress showcase which featured 280 Charolais cattle from all over Australia.
