A unique offering that connects people through the simple practices of listening and sharing stories kicked off in Inverell yesterday.
The Inverell Listening Festival had two sessions at the Inverell Markets with the festival concluding with the final event at the Welders Dog on the 12th of March.
Organiser Jane O’Brien is inviting community members of all ages to come and play Listen For.. the storytelling game with a twist with the aim of creating and strengthening connections between people, even those they’ve never met.
Mrs O’Brien says listening is a basic human skill for living happy, healthy and connected.
