Former Uralla Shire Councillor Natasha Ledger has been found not guilty of common assault and stalking-intimidating with the intention of causing fear or physical harm relating to charges from two separate incidents dating back to last year.
Her case involved incidents with a man at Yarrie Lake, near Narrabri on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 as well stalking and intimidating the same man in August last year.
The Northern daily Leader reports Ms Ledger is pleased with the result and now will move forward to contesting the Federal seat of New England at the next election.
She is back in Court today to appeal a decision by Uralla Shire Council to have her dog declared dangerous.
