Kosciusko Champion Far Too Easy Retired

by | Jan 21, 2026 | Sport | 0 comments

The horse that won an Inverell syndicate $2 million after claiming the 2024 Kosciusko has been retired after pulling up stressed on Saturday.

Trainer David McColm says once he saw his beloved stable star Far Too Easy succumbing to heat stress after Saturday’s $1 million Magic Millions Snippets, he knew their remarkable racing journey together had reached its conclusion.

In 2024, The Tatts Hotel Inverell syndicate secured a slot for the Kosciusko to which they chose Far Too Easy who went onto score a big win.

Scott Williams from the Tatts says the horse had a big impact on the syndication and he still has contact with the Gold Coast trainer adding he and Al Foran have a share in a horse trained by Mr McColm.

Mr Williams wished Far Too Easy a happy and healthy retirement
