The Inverell Golf Club held its mixed 4-ball-best-ball Open and Men’s Open over the weekend.
In the scratch competition played on Sunday, Ryan Kinnear, and Nick Glover both finished with 76 off the stick with the two players then involved in a 3-hole playoff with Ryan finishing best and taking out the Open.
Luke Woodhouse, nett 65, was the winner of the nett competition while Rowan Butler took the runner-up prize.
Local player, Gordon Dean and Tania Doyle, from Warialda, combined to win Saturday’s 4-Ball event with 46 points with Tony and Ange Driscoll next best with 42 points.
In other competitions, Sandra Williams won the ladies monthly mug on Wednesday with nett 70 and Simon Smith took out Saturday’s stableford with 42 points.
