Blake Keating has commenced his role as the new Inspector with Inverell police station this week saying the transition into his new position has been positive
Inspector Keating has been with the NSW Police Force for 18 years working at Mid North Coast, Griffith, Moree, and is was with the State Crime Command – Child Abuse Squad in Inverell.
The position has been in caretaker mode since May 2023 with inspector Keating saying he’s looking forward to providing stability and consistency in that role.
He says his vision is to continue to build on the good work of his predecessors by focusing on swift and effective responses to crime, providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction to the community, being visible on the street, and disrupting and targeting persons responsible for any criminal activity at Inverell, and Inverell sectors including Tingha, Delungra, Warialda, Ashford, Yetman, Bingara and Bundarra.
He says he has focused on engagement with some key stakeholders this week and getting up to speed with his staffs needs and how they are travelling.
