Three Inverell Highlander juniors have been part of the successful Central North Under 18s girls team that claimed the NSW Rugby Union Country Championships over the long weekend in Sydney.

Ella Gleeson and Eliza and Tilly Thompson celebrated Central North’s second successive championship win after making it through to the final and defeating Central West 20-nil.

The girls contributed to the win and were ecstatic with the result.
