New England MP Barnaby Joyce says he wants to get rid of the Government’s climate policy stressing it’s destroying the country
Mr Joyce says the impact of renewable energy projects and closure of the oil refineries in Australia is having a detrimental effect on the country.
The former Deputy Prime Minister says the Safe Guard mechanism policy, in which Mr Joyce believes put refineries out of business causing a major problem, adding now facing fuel uncertainly caused by the Middle East Crisis, the country doesn’t have the ability to process fuel and build stocks.
Mr Joyce says the climate policy needs to be scrapped now to better Australia’s future.
