Inverell Shire council advise there will be road closures in place for the Sapphire city Festival Finale in Campbell Park tomorrow.
Campbell St into Captain Cook Drive will be closed from the Byron St Roundabout through to Gunson way from 2:30 tomorrow afternoon through to 9:30pm.
The main town bridge will be closed off to all traffic from 8 to 10pm to make way for the annual fireworks display off the bridge with diversions in place during this time via Old Bundarra Rd and MacIntyre St for motorists wanting to access the eastern side of town and Bundarra Rd.
Meantime Council are also urging residents to secure their pets during the fireworks display to avoid pets getting scared and running away and asked owners to secure their pets safely in their yard, house, or on their lap.
The display will last approximately 12 minutes and will occur at 9pm.
