The Westpac Rescue helicopter was called to Nullamanna to treat an elderly woman who was injured in a motor vehicle accident on Friday afternoon
Around 3:45pm, the chopper was tasked by NSW Ambulance to treat a woman in her 80s who had sustained chest and hand injuries in the accident.
The patient was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.
Meantime, a woman in her 40’s was treated for arm and leg injuries after being involved in a collision with a vehicle on the Yetman Rd, near the saleyards on Saturday afternoon.
NSW Ambulance state that emergency crews were called to the scene at around 5:15pm to treat a woman cyclist in her 40’s
She was taken to Inverell hospital and her condition is unknown.
