New England Police are investigating two motor vehicle accidents that occurred over the long weekend.

The first accident involved a single vehicle on Thunderbolts Way at Stannifer.

An adult male passenger, and adult female driver, and 2 children were treated at the scene with the female conveyed to hospital with minor injuries.

The second accident occurred shortly before 6pm Easter Saturday between a motorcycle and a car on Howell Road in the vicinity of Copeton Dam.

Investigations are underway into both collisions.
