Inverell galloper SENSATIONAL REWARD has won this year’s Bundarra Cup which was run at Armidale on Saturday.

Trained by Todd Payne and ridden by Scott Sweedman, SENSATIONAL REWARD dictated the race from the outset and had 2 lengths to spare on the line.

Earlier, Ridge Wilson produced the Bingara-owned WAYDIE to win its second successive race.

It was a big day for the females, with trainer Jane Clement leading in three winners, jockey Leeshelle Small riding a treble, and female jockeys riding 5 of the 6 winners. Attention now turns to the Holy Trinity race day at Inverell on the 19th of October.
