The 9 positions on Inverell Shire Council have been confirmed by the NSW Electoral Commission following a count of preferences yesterday.
Of the 11 candidates who ran at last month’s Local government Elections, incumbents Paul Harmon, Kate Dight newcomer Greg Kachel had been confirmed as elected but are now joined by Ian Hooker, Paul King, Wendy Wilks, Jacko Ross, Jo Williams, and Fiona Brown
Kelvin Brown and Graem Murray were unsuccessful in their tilt at Council with the margin of 333 votes separating Fiona Brown and Kelvin Brown
The new Council will have their first sitting next Wednesday the 9th October to decide the mayoral election.
