Racing returns to Inverell today after NSW Racing stewards transferred the Coffs Harbour ‘Woolgoolga Cup’ race meeting to Inverell racecourse on Wednesday.
Officials inspected Coffs Harbour and found the surface unsuitable for racing after receiving approximately 65mls of rainfall over the past week.
Racing NSW state alternative tracks within the Northern Rivers region were considered and inspected, however, were also deemed currently unsuitable for racing.
The meeting has attracted 95 acceptances for the 8-race program with racing commencing at 11:55.
Rain is forecast today with the Inverell track currently rated a Good 4.
