Inverell Netball Association’s Open Women’s team are the 2025 Senior State  Title Division 3 champions after going through undefeated through the competition over the long weekend in Sydney.

The team consisting of Rachel Sutton, Kaitlin and Shannon Driscoll, Charli Wright, Simone Bostelaar, Abby Campbell, Emily Driese and Emma and Charlotte Mozzell who won all of their 15 games to top the leaders board, and were two games clear of their nearest opponents Glen Innes.

It was the team’s first success since 2014.

Meantime, Inverell’s Under 17’s team had to overcome the challenge of losing a player to injury on day one but they fought back to finish 11th on the ladder.
