Long serving Lion Tom Cattell has been installed as the Inverell Lions Club President for a 4th term following their recent Change Over dinner at Inverell Club.
Mr Cattell takes the reins from Cameron Baxter, who has held the position for the past two years.
Mr Baxter has assumed the role of Secretary while Phillip Beaton takes the treasurer position.
In his outgoing President Report, Mr Baxter reflected on a year where they lost long serving member and Inverell Lions 1st female president Heather Fitzgerald, celebrated the Club’s 70th Birthday and presenting incoming President Tom Cattel’s Life Membership.
The Club also donated over $16,000 to local schools and charity groups with monies raised from the sales of Lions Christmas Cakes, raffles and markets held over the past 12 months.
Over 1180 hours were worked by Inverell Lions members in the past 12 months
