Final preparations are underway for the Inverell East Rotary Club’s Christmas Fair which takes place tomorrow in conjunction with the lighting of the Inverell Christmas tree.
The Christmas Fair begins at 4pm in Campbell Park, with hams and cakes up for grabs on the chocolate wheel, entertainment, plenty of food stalls, and a visit from Santa at 6:45 with the event also incorporating the lighting of the town’s Christmas Tree at around 8pm on the grounds of the Inverell Visitor Information Centre in Campbell St.
Paul Alliston from Inverell East Rotary Club says they’ll also be selling tickets in their huge Christmas Stocking Raffle which will be drawn on STA FM on Monday.
Mr Alliston says the Christmas carnival was always a great start to the Christmas season in town and invited the community to come down and support the event.
