Inverell Businesses are fairing well in the current “Best Of” Competition set by The New England Times.

Fifteen Categories have so far been voted against, with Inverell claiming 5 of the categories including Best Butcher, Best Real Estate, Best Fashion Retailer, Best Hairdresser and Best Mechanic; RDR Real Estate and Lennon’s Butchery among the winners.

Inverell businesses have faced stiff competition, claiming top honours against category winners from Moree, Uralla, Tenterfield and Armidale, with one childcare business in Inverell missing the top spot to an Armidale business by just 4 votes.

New England Times Chief Editor Raphaella Crosby says she was overwhelmed to see so many votes from smaller towns supporting small businesses in the New England.
