Racing returns to Inverell tomorrow after the Armidale race meeting was transferred yesterday to the Inverell racecourse.

Following 58mls of rain over the last 7 days and 8mls yesterday morning, Racing NSW stewards deemed the Armidale track was unsuitable for racing.

The Inverell track is currently rated a Soft 7.

There’s been a couple of race distance amendments including the 1300 metre Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap, which will be run   now 1200 metres and the 1900 metre Class 1 & Maiden Plate, which will now be run over 1800 metres.

74 acceptances have been received for the 7-race card which kicks off tomorrow at 12:50pm
