Inverell FC Premier League 1sts and Reserves have proven once again to be the sides to watch as they progress closer to the finals after downing North Companions FC at Tamworth over the weekend.

The reserves set the bench by winning their game with a strong 3-1 victory, however the 1^st grade team met tougher competition, posting a 3-0 1^st half and becoming complacent only to be drawn 3 all by the home team.

Meanwhile, both Armidale League teams had their games forfeited by East Armidale and the Women’s Armidale Premier League team had their game postponed by PLC.

The Premier League 1sts now break for a week and head to Newcastle after being selected as top team of the Northern Region to play against a strong Newcastle-Croatia side for the Community State Plate.
