The Inverell FC Premier League 1^st Grade Team have now positioned themselves at the top of the competition ladder just weeks before the finals after downing Armidale Westside United FC on the weekend.

It was a tight match though the Inverell side crossed the line 2-1 with now only 1 point separating the top 4, however Coach Damien Schulz is now confident more than ever the team will gain a Minor Premiership.

Meanwhile, the Premier League Reserve Grade Team played their match against Westside with a convincing 3-1 win.

The Armidale League 3^rd and 4^th grade teams played against The Glen Innes Highlanders, the 4^th grade team claiming victory 2-1 however the 3^rd grade team couldn’t match the strength of the Glen Innes side, going down 4-1, while The Armidale Women’s Premier League team drew their game 1-1 against the Souths Stars last Friday.
