Inverell F.C have finished their regular Northern Inland Premier League season with a 5-0 victory over Hillvue Rovers in Tamworth on Saturday.
Paul Leo continued his good goal scoring form with a double as the visitors weren’t troubled as they now prepare for the finals this weekend.
Inverell F.C finished in 3rd spot and will travel to Tamworth to play Demon Knights in an elimination final.
In other results, Reserve grade recorded a 3-1 win to book a major semi-final berth this weekend against Demon Knights, 3rd grade went down in their final to Demon Knights 3-0 and 4th grade also lost their final 2-0 to Armidale City Westside.
Inverell F.C Women’s 1st grade team advanced to the grand final following its 5-1 victory over North Utd in the major semi-final while 2nd grade scored a 2-nil win over PLC in its catch-up match.
