Inverell FC Premier and Reserve grade teams have progressed to be this season’s Minor Premiers after downing East Armidale United FC in Armidale on the weekend.

Both teams were in top form with the reserve’s defeating East Armidale by a massive 17-1 victory while the Premier’s cruised to a comfortable 9-1 win, with an elated, yet confident Coach Damien Schulz determined to nab back a win in the Major Semi finals at Tamworth in two weeks from Moore Ck who delivered Inverell’s only loss of the season.

In the Armidale Women’s Premier League, the Rell’s hosted Armidale City Westside United FC at the complex where the ladies put up a strong fight but were unable to match the strength of the visitors, going down with a 5-1 loss.

Despite the loss, the Women’s team has qualified for finals.

Meanwhile, due to a points bungle, the Armidale League 4^th Grade team have been declared the Minor Premier’s for this season, while the 3^rd grade team are awaiting a decision that will determine their finals outcome for the season.
