Inverell F.C have begun their pre-season with a win in the Johnson Cup over the weekend.
In hot and tough conditions, Northern Inland Soccer reigning premiers Inverell F.C played 6 games back-to-back to make it through to the final against Moore Creek to claim the title after a penalty shootout.
Inverell F.C’s Sam Byrne says their hard pre-season training regime had them prepared for the hot conditions adding the tournament has them ready for the season proper.
