Inverell F.C will travel back to Tamworth for their final regular season game of the year in the Northern Inland Premier League, hoping to continue their goal scoring form against Hillvue Rovers.
The team, currently sitting in 3rd spot on the ladder, has scored 23 goals from their past four outings and will be hoping to cement a top 2 finish, but that will depend on the Oxley Vale Attunga and Tamworth F.C clash.
Co-coach James Sweeney says they’ll need to ensure they stay consistent and score early with a win imperative if they’re to play finals.
Meantime the finals begin in the Armidale Local Competition with Inverell F.C on the road to Armidale tackle Demon Knights in a 3rd Grade eliminations final while 4th grade face Armidale City Westside in a major semi.
The Women’s 2nd grade have a catch-up match against PLC in Armidale while first grade will host Norths United on Sunday at home at the Sports Complex in a major semi with the winner to host the grand final.
