Inverell F.C have got back to some goal scoring form after their 7-1 win over Tamworth F.C at the Sports complex on Saturday in the Northern Premier League.
Going into half-time 2-0 up, Inverell F.C motored away in the second half with hattricks to Paul Leo and Allesandro De Araujo setting up the big win.
Co-Coach Warwick Readett says it was tremendous to come up with a good win half way through the season with a few players out with the flu and injuries.
Inverell F.C will now focus on their semi-final in the Regional Super League on the 18th of July against Alstonville.
In other results from Saturday, Inverell F.C’s Reserve grade registered a 3-1 win over Tamworth while in the Armidale competition, 3rd grade scored a 2-0 win and 4th grade went down 2-1 to South Armidale Utd.
