Inverell F.C have warmed up for the finals with a 3-0 win over Norths Utd in cold and blustery conditions in Armidale on Saturday as part of the Northern Inland Premier League.
Goals to Steve Toleyi in the 45th minute, Andrew Saru in the 52nd minute and Paul Leo in the 78th minute secured the victory for Inverell F.C.
Reserve grade scored a 2-0 win over Norths Utd, 3rd grade won 4-2 over Armidale City Westisde, 4th grade squeezed a 1-0 win over Demon Knights.
Their women’s teams had a double header weekend with their first grade side scoring a 5-4 win and their Reserve grade hammering Norths Utd 5-0 yesterday backing up from Fridays 6-0 win over East Armidale Utd in 1st grade and their 13-1 Reserve grade victory Over TAS.
Inverell F.C’s 6 teams have qualified for the major semi-finals while all men’s teams have finished minor premiers for the second year running.
