Inverell’s rep cricket side has gone down by 9 wickets against Tamworth at Varley Oval yesterday in Round 5 of the Connelly Cup
Batting first, Inverell didn’t capitalise on Dave Mudaliar’s 72 to finish with 7/156 off their 40 overs with the Tamworth bowling line-up putting in a dominant performance.
The visitors in reply made light work of the target and batted patiently, losing only one wicket to finish with 1/158 in the 35th over.
Archie McMaster and Samuel Davis remained unbeaten with 64 and 57 respectively with Rohan Guest the sole wickets taker for Inverell claiming 1/27 from 7 Overs.
Inverell has two games left in the competition against Narrabri on February 8th and Armidale in Armidale February 15th
