The Inverell Branch of the Country Women’s Association has recently reached a significant milestone by celebrating its 100th anniversary last week.
Council representatives from the Inverell Shire Council as well as Member for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan were in attendance to congratulate the association in achieving the milestone.
To commemorate the occasion, the CWA were presented with a rose bush which was unveiled outside the Inverell Shire Council Chambers as well as a new park bench under a shady tree at the Cenotaph.
