Northwest has finished fourth at the Combined High School’s Girls cricket Championships held in Sydney this week.
The team comprising of Inverell cricketers Hollie Woodbury and Georgie Lennord played Sydney North yesterday in the play-off for 3rd and were defeated.
Northwest batted first and were bowled out for 61 with Sydney North reaching the target of 62 after 12 overs.
The Inverell girls performed exceptionally well over the carnival with Hollie finishing with 11 wickets for the tournament while Georgie scored 39 runs and claimed 3 wickets.
