The annual general meeting of the Inverell Chamber of Commerce & Industry takes place this evening at the Riverside Restaurant with current business owners encouraged to jump on board the committee.
Publicity Officer Kylie Wilks says they have 3 office bearers that have held positions despite not being a business owner and hopes business owners will step up and play a part in guiding the Chamber over the next 12 months.
Ms Wilks says the future of the Inverell Chamber depends on their ability to come together and move to bring prosperity to local businesses.
She says they want to build a strong, united front that makes Inverell a place where businesses thrive and where every member feels the true value of being part of something for the greater good of Inverell not their individual business.
The Inverell Chamber of Commerce and Industry AGM will take place at the Riverside Restaurant at 6 o‘clock this evening.
