Inverell Breakfast Toastmaster will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Toastmaster International this Friday with their annual Communicator and Youth Communicator of the year Awards evening.
President of the Inverell Breakfast Toastmasters David Madigan says the Communicator of the Year was first introduced in 2001 and was the brainchild of the late Marie Ward with the award presented to former radio personality Greg Kachel.

Then in 2006, Mr Maddigan says the organisation felt they were losing a demographic and introduced the Youth Communicator of the Year which is now open to the schools.
This year to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Toastmaster International, Mr Maddigan is inviting all past winners to come along and share in the festivities at the Inverell RSM Club from 6pm.
