The wet weather from last Friday did not hamper the festivities celebrated at the Inverell Jockey Club with the annual Holy Trinity Art Union still conducted on Saturday.
Though the races were scratched due to unfavourable track conditions brought on by the previous day’s wet weather, the Holy Trinity Art Union pressed on, with Henry Mill taking out the top prize of $7000 with an additional $500 presented to him due to his attendance on the day.
Second prize of a Suzuki Motorcycle was awarded to Sonia Tanner, 3rd prize of a Cut Sapphire was won by David Clarke while the 4th prize of a Stihl Chainsaw was picked up by Neisha Seargent.
