Inverell Highlanders will be searching for their first win of the season when they host reigning premier Narrabri Blue Boars at Rugby Park in Central North Rugby action tomorrow.
1st grade coach Gemma Noller says they’re not far off from hitting their straps and will hopefully turn recent close losses into wins.
Noller says they’ve been concentrating on their defence in recent weeks which came to the fore against Moree in their last outing and will have several players returning to the side which will give them more options off the bench.
She’s says Narrabri are a dangerous team, particularly in broken play, and is expecting a tough contest.
In the other 1st grade game for tomorrow Gunnedah hosts the improved Quirindi Lions with both teams equal on points with Narrabri on the Central North points table.
