The Inverell Highlanders remain winless this season after going down to the Moree Weebolla Bulls on Saturday in Round 5 action in the Central North Rugby competition.

Not much separated both teams but Moree’s will to win overpowered the Highlanders to score a 19-10 victory.

1st grade coach Gemma Noller says they played some good footy, creating opportunities but not quite finishing off their effort with points adding it seems to be the story so far this season for the Highlanders.

She says it’s disappointed to lose but definitely not disappointed by their effort.

The Highlanders went down to Moree in Reserve grade 48-17 and 33-21 in Women’s 10’s but scored a victory in the third-grade game 21-14.
