Highlanders Have Plenty to Play for Despite Missing Finals

by | Jul 25, 2025 | Sport | 0 comments

With finals hopes dashed, the Inverell Highlanders will be playing for pride when they travel to Moree to tackle the Weebolla Bulls in round 11 action the in the Central North Rugby Competition.

1st grade coach Gemma Noller says there’s still plenty to play for with the goal now to finish the season off strong and build momentum heading into next season.

Noller says they’re a bit light on troops due to injuries but hopes to upset Moree and show that they were genuine chances this year if not for dropping too many close games.

The other first grade match sees Pirates at home to reigning premiers Narrabri Blues Boars in Tamworth.
