by | Jun 1, 2026 | Sport

Inverell Highlanders have given the Moree Bulls a run for their money but have fallen short to go down 35-21 in Round 8 results in the Central North Rugby competition.

1st grade coach Gemma Noller felt they were the better team for 60 minutes of the match, but two yellow cards took its toll the Highlanders defence which cost them the game.

Noller says it was a great match and she’s proud of the of her teams’ intensity and defence adding there were a lot of positive to take from the game.

The Highlanders Reserve grade team went down to Moree 36-8 while the Women’s team were outplayed by Moree 47-14
