The Inverell Highlanders are back at Rugby Park tomorrow when they host the Quirindi Lions as part of Round 8 of the Central North Rugby competition.
1st grade coach Gemma Noller says being the Club’s Ladies Day as well gives the Highlanders a chance to make a real statement and continue the improvement they’ve shown in recent weeks.
Noller says they’ve had a focus on fitness and defence lately so she’s looking forward to seeing how her players apply themselves against a Lions’ team which prides itself on defence.
In other matches tomorrow, the Gunnedah Red Devils host the Narrabri Blue Boars while competition leaders the Moree Bulls head to Tamworth to tackle Pirates.
