A local stud has sold a bull for one of the highest prices ever achieved at an on-property auction in Australia.
Lot 1 Clune Range Untouchable U441 was knocked down for $300,000 at the Guest Family’s annual Clunie Range Angus Bull sale which was conducted at Springfield Wallangra on Friday.
The 30-month-old Untouchable U441 has been previously used at the stud.
It weighed 904 kg.
The bull was purchased online by a consortium of five buyers from Victoria and New Zealand.
It was a complete clearance of 201 bulls offered and sold at the Clunie Range Angus On property Bull Sale for an overall average of $15,538
